Steve Makovsky links to a list of DVD burning software posted by Richard Tallent, leading me to discover DVD-lab. Here's the kicker; I nearly broke down this week to get a PowerBook for DVD mastering. DVD-lab is awesome and I'll save about $1900. I think I owe Steve and Richard a coffee.
The one thing that DVD-lab lacks is an MPEG2 encoder. I found that if I create a rough DVD using Nero, I can just use the VOB files for DVD-lab and it's happy and the DVD creation is amazingly fast. This is one awesome tool.
